ACT Superscore Policy

Most colleges don’t superscore the ACT. Superscore is where the school takes the highest section scores from all test dates and then adds them together to give the best composite score. Most schools will only accept your highest ACT score in one sitting.

Unfortunately, we could not locate the school’s exact ACT policy. This most likely means that they do not exist in Superscore.

Making the right choice in your application is vital. Dartmouth’s quick decisions procedure at Dartmouth lets applicants receive a decision on their applications sooner than the normal process of deciding. Dartmouth allows students to apply to different schools simultaneously.

However, if you choose to use it elsewhere, you must follow the other school’s rules regarding admissions procedures.

A majority of Ivy League schools do not permit simultaneous early decision applications. Therefore it is essential to keep this in your mind.

If you apply to Dartmouth via the early decision procedure, you must withdraw all other applications you’ve submitted. In addition, you’ll be required to sign up at Dartmouth. But, the requirement to enroll applies only when the financial aid you receive is adequate compared to other offers.

Historical Case – Dartmouth College v. Woodward  

Dartmouth College v Woodward in 1819 was a landmark decision that shaped the evolution of American corporate law. It dealt with the legality of agreements between private firms.

The controversy began when trustees at Dartmouth College removed its president John Wheelock from his position in the wake of some debate. In 1816, the New Hampshire government attempted 1816 to transform privately-funded Dartmouth College into a state university.
