Lehigh University – An Overview

Lehigh University was established around 1865 by Asa Packer. To install the private research university, its founder Asa Packer, a businessman by trade, donated $500,000. The university was founded to improve the moral and intellectual development of students.

Lehigh University’s: Overall Acceptance Rate – Class of 2025

Lehigh got 15,161 applications for the Class of 2026, but only 5,507 people were chosen. This makes the acceptance rate 36%, which is lower than the previous year’s rate of 46%.

Early Decision at Lehigh has two rounds. The deadline for ED I is November 1, while ED II’s is January 1. 763 of the 1,084 students who applied via binding ED were accepted into the Class of 2025. This means that 70% of EDs will get them.

Lehigh University Admissions – SAT, ACT, and Class Rank

Most incoming first-year students in 2021-22 were in the top 10% of their high school class. To be exact, 57% were in the top 10%. 86% were in the top 25%.

Mid-range SAT composite scores for the Class of 2025 were between 1340 and 1460. The ACT range for the middle 50% was 31–35.

Those admitted to the Class of 2025 (different from “enrolled”) had SAT scores between 1380 and 1500 and ACT scores between 32 and 34.

Lehigh University GPA Requirements
